I’m a birth and postpartum doula based in Los Angeles, originally from Florida, where I grew up inside a close, deeply connected family. That sense of family shaped me early. I was raised listening to my grandparents, valuing their stories and their quiet wisdom, and understanding that presence is one of the most meaningful forms of care.
After graduating from film school, I moved to LA and spent years working behind the camera on film sets, eventually stepping into cinematography. Doula work found me during a time when I felt lost, looking for work that mattered in a very human way. I now incorporate that experience in this work, capturing the small, honest moment in photo and video that tell your family’s story. It is a true joy to me and my style is rooted in capturing the feel and essence of the moment as it was.
When my grandmother passed away, I was freelancing while the rest of my family had to return to work. I had the ability to pause my work, and I chose to spend that time sitting with my grandfather. In my grief. In his grief. For four weeks, I was simply there. Holding his hand. Being an anchor. Those weeks were some of the hardest and most fulfilling of my life. They taught me how to show up in moments of transition, without needing to fix or rush them.
I am deeply moved by transformation, and birth and postpartum are some of the most profound transformations we can experience as humans. I aim to help demystify the process, offering clear, grounded education about what is actually happening physiologically in your body so that you feel informed and capable.
At my core, I’m a student of life. Learning is one of my deepest passions. I stay current with evidence-based practices, continue my education as a doula, and study anatomy through my bodywork practice so I can support clients with both knowledge and intuition. I believe in learning continuously, because this work deserves depth, care, and humility.
In my role as your doula, I aim to be steady ground and the roots that help you feel supported when things feel uncertain. If I don’t know an answer, I will find it. If you have a partner, I support them so they can support you. My goal is to help you build confidence, trust your intuition, and feel empowered throughout pregnancy and postpartum, intuition that will carry you through parenthood. I’m practical, honest, kind, and present. And I’m here with you.
